Setup

Follow these steps to get your device up and running:

    Connect to the WIFI shown on screen using a phone or computer.

    Browse to http://192.168.4.1 in a web browser.

  • 3

    This brings you to the settings page. Select your home WIFI network from the drop-down list and connect the device.

    Your router will assign a new IP address.

    Choose your preferred settings, such as your local bus stop or train station, desired number of departures, and click "Save".

    Next time you restart the device, use the new IP address mentioned earlier to access the settings page.

Please note: If your own network does not show up, but you can see other networks, you need to enable your router's 2,4 GHz bandwidth settings.

Troubleshooting

Is the device getting enough power?

The device needs a reliable power source. A regular phone charger should do the trick, preferably one that is not too weak. If you experience any problems, replace the charger or connect the device to a computer.

How is the device placed?

The optimal distance from the router is about 5-6 meters. Don't place it too close or too far from the router, or behind walls or objects that could block the signal.

Is your router broadcasting on the 2,4GHz band?

The 2,4GHz band is used by many wireless home consumer products, so make sure this setting is enabled on your router.

Is the device up to date?

Make sure you regularly update your device to ensure optimal performance. Go to the settings page and click the blue button containing the version number.

Can the device be reset?

Yes. Disconnect the power by unplugging the USB cord from device. Then, while pressing the button, plug ithe USB cord back in while still pressing the button.

The device will reset to factory settings and reboot.
